The politics of learning within Post-Yerevan EHEA: Some epistemological remarks on the role of university lecturers

XXI Jornades de Foment de la Investigació de la Facultat de Ciències Humanes i Socials (Any 2016)The last 20 years have witnessed a gradual and constant shift in the way society and transnational education institutions, namely the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), conceptualise and address the education/learning activity. That shift in the dominant education paradigm, epistemologically rooted, affects among other stances the role of lecturers, displacing the teaching figure from the centre towards the periphery of the education process. The student-centred narratives in education have a direct impact on lecturers, their self-concept, and the expectations regarding their class contents and methodology. The following paper addresses that concern, advocating for a reconceptualisation of the role of lecturers under the current studentcentred epistemological approach

A controversial passage in the Annals of Eutichius of Alexandria. The Jewish attack against the city of Tyre

En los Annales compuestos por el patriarca Eutiquio de Alejandría encontramos algunos pasajes originales, que no están presentes en otras fuentes, por lo que muchos estudiosos han descartado su verosimilitud. No obstante, hay que tener muy presente el contexto h istórico en el que este personaje vivió, en contacto tanto con musulmanes como con judíos. Un ejemplo de esto es el relato que hace del ataque de los judíos contra la ciudad fenicia de Tiro durante la guerra romano-persa (603-628), calificado como fantasioso. Sin embargo, cambia la perspectiva cuando se lo relaciona con textos apocalípticos de la tradición hebrea.In the Annals composed by the Patriarch Eutychius of Alexandria there are some original passages, which are not in others sources, and some scholars have dismissed their plausibility. However, we must consider the historical context in which the author lived, in contact with Muslims and Jews. An example of this is the story about the attack of the Jews against the Phoenician city of Tyre during the Roman-Persian war (603-628), almost fantastical. However the perspective changes when this episode is compared with the apocalyptical texts of the Hebrew tradition

Por ello, se ha querido estructurar el siguiente análisis en tres capítulos donde se tratará la droga como vía de acceso a la prisión. En segundo lugar, se ha basado el análisis en las drogas en el interior de las prisiones, ya que es algo con lo que conviven diariamente los reclusos. Así como las diferentes tipologías asociadas al tráfico de drogas en prisión como los distintos consumos y su tratamiento penitenciario. De ello, derivamos en el tercer bloque donde tratamos el tratamiento penitenciario como inefectivo para la futura reinserción social del drogodependiente, siendo mejorable sustancialmente a la hora de la futura reinserción social.Drug dependence is a fact, inside and outside prison. Therefore, we structure the following analysis in three chapters where we are going to see that drug pave the way of access to prison. Secondly, we treat analysis of drugs inside prisons, since it is something with which prisoners live daily. As well, the different types associated with traffic of drugs in prison as the different consumptions and their prison treatment. From this, we derive in the third chapter where we treat drug addiction treatment as ineffective for future social reinsertion of the addict person, being substantially improved when it comes to future social reintegration
